If gold were a thing here, I would give it to you

Instead of Reddit Gold, may I offer you Lemmy Cold 🧊 ?

That's actually helpful in this damn heatwave. Except... I think the PC I'm reading this one probably warmed the room a tiny bit in order to render the ice cube...

Guess you haven’t heard of Weetabix before. Not quite the same but close enough.

They soften from absorbing milk and people generally add sugar or other sweeteners. Still not the peak of breakfast cuisine, though.

Well I’m always looking for something to slow me down while I’m getting ready for work, I’ll give it a shot!

These days my kids just skip the middle man and pour sugar straight into their mouths. At one point I was frequently confiscating sachets of sugar they'd nabbed while I wasn't looking.

In the US we’d basically been doing this for decades as kids, sanctioned by the candy makers through pixy stix (which apparently wasn’t even real sugar but maltodextrin).

I had one out of my kids' Halloween candy a few months ago. Trust me, no you don't.

Some things are better left as memories.

Yeah the giant shredded wheat lol. Looks so strange when you're used to mini wheats

Immediately thought of this - I guess this person is British or from another region where Weetabix is a normal thing
