The article contains a number of what seems to be assurances from different groups that this was unplanned and a behaviour not representative of these people as a group. It's notable, however, that multiple people seem to have been able to sing along.

Well, this is just my opinion as a jaded American, but I believe it means "Told off in a publicly embarrassing way that has zero actual consequence in the long term, so the powerful people of the party can wash their hands of the whole matter whilst pretending they don't actually openly celebrate their fascism behind closed doors."
