Posts aren't marked as read on secondary account
I added a second lemmy account to Sync and on that second account posts aren't marked as read after I opened them. Sometimes they get marked as read after a reload, but only sometimes.
Is that a bug? Is there a solution?
There was a change in 0.19.5 which Sync needs to address.
So, another 6 months until the Dev comes back? No updates in the last three months.
Is there a good alternative app? Been thinking about moving to a FOSS app for a while anyway but so far couldn't find one that's as good as Sync.
I'm using Boost for Lemmy and it's pretty good.
None of the others has "hold to preview" pictures. And none scrolls as smooth..
For me it's the super compact view that I miss. None of the other apps comes close to how clear and tidy Sync looks, and none have the option to put the preview on the left and the "view" button on the right. I guess I could get used to it being different, but currently I have multiple Lemmy clients installed but I keep gravitating back towards Sync even though the posts aren't marked as read which is seriously annoying.
I have Sync and 7 others installed, and I'm only using Sync just because of these small missing things.. It would probably be better if I ranted in their sub's.
Check out Summit for Lemmy, I found it to be as smooth as Sync.
Summon looks nice. Smooth. Hold to preview is OK, but it would be nice if the preview closed when not holding anymore.. I'll seriously give this one a try..
Boost is good. But, you also have voyager and then there's jerboa.
I just realized I also don't see points of posts and comments on that account. Is that due to the same reason?

Ah, thanks. Found the setting, show scores was disabled. Guess I did that accidentally while looking for a setting to fix the mark as read thing.
Someone else had this accidentally turned on as well. Maybe this is its own bug.
