After listening to this song I wanted to see what the original was and it turns out Al wrote this song himself. It's a completely original track!
He wanted to make a song that's too hard for him to perform live.
Of course with enough time he actually did start performing it live. Including restarting the above mentioned section if he messes it up.
That's absolutely amazing
About half of the songs on every album are completely original. He's a much better musician than one might think.
