Can't reply to kbin users?
I keep having issues replying to users from kbin. Here is an example

I can't reply to this person in liftoff.
Actually, now that I try I can't reply to them from the website either. Maybe it's a lemmy thing?

OK, on the website I was finally able to reply, but I had to specify the language. I couldn't reply with undetermined selected as the language
Yeah it's not a Liftoff thing. It's also not unique to Kbin users either, I've seen the same happen in threads that were staarted from Mastodon but also occasionally in threads from actual Lemmy users so still trying to figure out the pattern. Obviously some kind of mismatch between the settings where the thread was created and where you're commenting from but beyond that.... 🤷♀️
