This was the last version without blinking Ewoks, or Greedo firing his blaster, if I recall correctly.

There were no other versions after this. There especially weren’t versions with a computer generated Jabba.

I can't believe Star Wars ended after Return of the Jedi. George Lucas could have made a fortune if he'd produced a prequel trilogy, or a sequel trilogy, or made a lot of TV spinoffs.

Really? Damn, I saw these for sale recently. Might be worth picking up just for that novelty. Not that I have a VCR anymore.

I had this set. They kept saying that that was the last release ever so you better get them.

Hey, I was a child when they released the special edition box set and I fucking loved em!!!

Still have these in a box somewhere in my garage. I do not however have a VCR. I would be tempted to bust them out if it were not for the great fan made 4k original restorations out there.

I received this for Xmas that year.

Separately, it should have been Vader, Yoda, Emperor.

These are the ones I grew up on. Had them until my garage burned down with all of our VHS inside of it sometime during the 00s.

Had it! Found it at a yard sale in the late 90s. Some poor bastard's mom sold em when he left for college. We wore the tapes out and then buried them in the back yard.

When slave Leia falls down the pit, her bewb pops out! You can see it if you frame-by-frame.

Not Leia, it's the slave dance girl with the tentacles on her head.
