I don't get why people bother with this shit. Just pirate the show, it's never been easier. 🤷♂️
For a while it was actually easier just to pay ten bucks a month to instantly start streaming a show and easily browse a wide catalog. I have no problem paying for a service that respects me and my time.
Same here, I used to torrent all my movies. Then Netflix came out, it was a lot simpler and less time consuming to just pay 10$ a month. I torrented a lot less after that.
But now, streaming companies are just turning into cable channels. Completely negating why streaming became so popular in the first place, because it wasn't cable. You didn't have to suffer through ads and you could watch what you wanted when you wanted.
It's no surprise, that's what capitalism is, everything eventually turns to shit in the pursuit of infinite growth.
Lots of people are nowhere near technically savvy enough to know how to pirate. But it's easy to open an Netflix app on your phone. So they pay for it.
Yeah, we gotta teach the ones who can!
Because i want the people who made the show to get paid. It's also why I buy the physical media
I agree with the sentiment, but I figure that the people who I don't want to get paid get the bigger paycheck anyway.

And it's like $60 a year. Very well worth it.
