Congrats! I just started doing 2 challenge runs and I'm quite happy with the challenge, I can't imagine how difficult 8 would be. >shudder<

The answer is simply to add challenges gradually. As you get used to more and more challenges low chal runs get easier and easier

Now time for the ultimate test of 9 challenge. I was so close a few times but never have i held the 9 challenge amulet. I still attempt almost every other day. Good job on the 8 challenge that is no easy feat.

Had a really nice start today but got the horn of plenty too late. Just noticed i had a scroll of mystical energy there... could have filled up the horn with it a bit and made it. Well you always remember stuff too late and always learn something new every time.

Well that's useful information! I've never realized that it fully restores satiety! Thank you! 😀 👍

Just be patient and improve. You can get pretty high win rate on 6-chal. My first win was with a tanky corruption warlock but I've done many builds since. Sniper, battlemage, assassin, monk... anything is viable.

Try jumping into 6-chal with warlock, it becomes pretty brainless once you get your build going. Drop FiMA, pharma, runes and you're good.

In your opinion, which challenges are easiest to get started with?

Most challenges I managed to beat was with three: hostile champions, badder bosses, and swarm intelligence.

Champions and Bosses are a great start, Diet is an easy addition (it does force you to explore more efficiently) and Swarm too, beyond that it depends on your preferred playstyle. As a grass-abuse huntress player, Barren is still off and Darkness was the last I added, but this can change greatly if you use a different approach
