I wonder if Finn and Jake ended up tasting the demon heart at the end after they had already filled up on broom.

Those skulls in the back are pretty spooky

Looking back, Adventure Time definitely was really good about background and prop design, often bringing spooky or strange elements into view.

And then they never used magic again (I think, I don't really remember their powers from this episode reappearing)
