I just watched the highlights. Fucking hell the spuds were horrible. They struggled to get in good attacking positions, and when they did they consistently shanked their efforts over. And their defense was asleep at the wheel most of the time. Newcastle could have won this by 6 or 7 to nil. Not to take anything away from Newcastle, who played very well. But spuds' ineptitude was delightful.
