OP dog looks exactly like my chihuahua mix, other than the fur pattern. Was told it was a "chipoo;" mix of a chihuahua and toy poodle, but I don't think he actually has any poodle in him at all.
Other poster's dog looks very similar, but not as thin and the fur is thicker like a lab or something. I would have guessed it was just a puppy of a lab.
