Profile changes not saving

I have been trying to eliminate my email (as it says it's optional) but once the field is blank and saved it always reverts back when refreshed. Also the sort preference doesn't stick either when changed and saved. Ty

Hey, lemm.ee requires a valid e-mail address, this is for two reasons:

  1. To allow users to recover access their account in case of a forgotten password
  2. To combat bot sign ups (requiring a valid e-mail makes it at least a little bit harder to automate bots)

There are several e-mail services that allow "hiding" your e-mail address by generating a new e-mail alias for each sign-up. I recommend checking if your e-mail provider has support for this. For example:
