I was more having a quip at how this message is curated for the punchline

This probably happened in the American south. I could see how an accent or uneducated person, or a mix of both could lead to misinterpretation.

(I am originally from Upstate NY and live in the south and the words "line", "lying", and "lion" are all the same words. Same with "boil" and "bowl", "pin" and "pen".)

Man when I moved to the Midwest and would ask servers for a doggy bag, I would get such crazy looks.. Have to remember to say "to-go box" instead. They never had a clue what the hell I was asking for... Still can't shake some things like "clicker" after years away from Jersey.

So miss the pizza and diners up there man... They just don't exist the same outside that region.

I learned a word today. Thank you.

I’ll forget a word today that I’m never going to use or see again.
