The fact that this game launched years ago, and still gets meaningful updates PLUS expanded multiplayer and modding is insane.
More games need to be like this
Not only this, but the developer is working on a new game at the same time!
Procrastination-productivity is a beast.
its not often that people devloping a game is releasing essentially a passion project. theyre the anomally, not the norm, and would basically be unrealistic for it to ever be the norm.
The dev is legendary. It boggles my mind how someone can be so talented in art, programming, music, story lines etc. Stunning.
Stardew Valley is one of a kind. I doubt we will ever see a game made this well, by a single developer and looked after for this amount of time.
