6. at the bottom of a deep lake
7. has somehow been placed into a stable orbit around the earth

Good luck! Kitties often get lost in places like basements and deep holes they can't get out of on their own. So you should expect to search something like a basement, a dungeon, maybe some kind of other small, enclosed space.
