Why isn't lemmy.world using "All" by default?
Doesn't this make this instance more centralized? In fact, I've seen instances like lemm.ee using "All" by default.

The defaults are set per user, I believe, not per instance.
I don’t love browsing by all - I love the variety in content but people aren’t marking things NSFW and I don’t love the surprises 😬
You can actually change that yourself in the settings!
You set your own default. Check your settings.
