It's time to start over
We just took a family vote and are starting our Island adventure all over again. Our Island was overrun and hadn't been used in over a year.
It's been absolutely wonderful to explore and rediscover the perfect progression of this game.
Here's to the new Island!

Pretty good! We are just getting the upgraded resident services today 😁It took me way too long to figure out what I needed to do to get the axe recipe 😂I was buying nook tickets and then buying axes from the dodos 🤦♂️

I actually miss the early days. Do you regret restarting? I'm thinking about doing it now.
No regrets at all. It's been really nice to start again and not have all my friends progressing and wanting to keep up to them.
I remember being really into turnip prices, but this time I don't feel the pressure to maximize profit 😂
Most interesting thing I've noticed is that wet suits break the progression a bit. Right out of the gates you can buy one with nook miles and can swim to the other parts of the island.
I couldn't stop thinking about your reset, and I went ahead with my own today. It does feel freeing. I think I'm going to take my time with this island and not push so hard to get everything done as soon as possible.
