In space...

Edit: I use Eternity specifically because it's a fork of my favourite Reddit client. Idk man... I don't wanna relearn another client 🥺

Same... When I used reddit, infinity was the only app I ever used, and this is the only lemmy app I ever used

Sad times. Loved liftoff, transitioned to eternity. Currently using thunder - if that gets abandoned you know who to blame lol

Me - I feel cursed, whatever app I migrate to just fizzled out

You are absolutely right and i was wrong to suggest it . Unless of course the dev has abandoned it then forking is the only way.

I really hope development continues at some point. Even the nightly updates have stopped coming.

The only thing I don't like about it is a lack of an ability to hide the bottom to bar, waaaay too much padding.

Does Thunder handle lemmy links properly? I've stuck with Eternity because it was the first app that handled links correctly for me. Also do any of the other lemmy apps have the same level of theme customisation?

Yes it does.

I haven't really used any other Lemmy apps as extensively as I have used Thunder, but I will say that, in my opinion, Thunder has a lot of customization ability.

Bummer I really liked liftoff before I was forced to switch to eternity... Do I need to switch again? I just want something kinda feels like RIF...

I've tried just about every app available for android, and personally I've settled on Voyager for Lemmy as a potential replacement for Eternity. I did the same migration coming here from Liftoff, but at least for now, we may want to test the waters elsewhere. :(

If you have the means, you may want to consider sending the Eternity dev a donation, to show him that it's worth continuing, as well as in thanks for the many months of joy it has brought us already.
