I almost screwed it up myself.
If it makes you feel better I fell for that trap not long ago. All I know to do in those situations is guess for unknown letters or try whichever is double letter, they love their double letter words.

Nnooo, I lost! ☠️ My Wordle nerd card is revoked! I just fell for a similar trap yesterday and survived, but my luck ran out today. I really need to be more careful in Hard Mode.
