Also, from Woj: Spurs coach Gregg Popovich’s new five-year deal is worth more than $80 million, sources tell ESPN. His deal resets the coaching market after Monty Williams’ recent six-year, $78.5 million deal with Detroit.
He saw one game from Wemby and decided he wants to stick around a bit more.
Seriously though, every nba fan should be happy to see this today, a league without Pop would not be the same.

Good to see Pop sticking around. Not sure how much it changes the coaching market though. I'd say this is a pretty unique deal for a long term coach sticking with a franchise after having brought them success over his tenure while building a culture and training future coaches through their system.

Think Monty is still a huge outlier. Decent coach, maybe top 1/3 in the league even but to be near pop is crazy.
I thought Hubie Brown was 80 when he coached the Grizzlies (69 apparently) back in the mid-00s.
