It’s also been confirmed that the game will give “affectionate and consensual romance options with a man temporarily transformed into a grizzly bear,” for example.

Excuse me, what the fuck?

Yeah it was something else. They chose to bang a wild shape bear and they accidently showed cock and balls

I knew that was reminding me of something! Been like 6 years since I've played good old CK2.

I don't think I've ever played a beta quite like this. Haven't been this completely invested in a game since Elden Ring dropped. Been trying to hold off playing the beta anymore to avoid spoiling myself. If they can stick the landing, this is shaping up to be one of the greats.

Did you play the originals? Can I ask how connected BG3 is to them in terms of story and (more importantly) characters and writing style?

After D:OS 1&2 I have no doubt in my mind Larian will put out a fantastic RPG, I just desperately hope it will also feel like Baldur's Gate and not Divinity: Dungeons and Dragons.

Has there been confirmation of controller support for the PC? I see articles saying that there should be, at launch, but nothing confirms it.

In the showcase they just did, the final Panel from Hell, they switched to controler to have an extra person join in split screen (when they were having difficulty with tactician mode)

There is PC controller support. The early access build doesn't have it or the new character creator.

This is one of the main things I'm hoping for. Point and click movement has always just felt clunky to me, no matter the game.

This game will be a big hit. There is so many ways to play this game with so many choices that the replay value is there. Larian Studios created this game as a labor of love and it shows.

There is a Baldur's Gate 3 community on the Fediverse.
