Is it the one where he becomes obsessed with Thomas Edison and he's at Springfield Elementary researching him?
Yes.
"They won't let me in the big people library downtown. There was some... unpleasantness. I can never go back."
Correct!
[Bonus Hard] Homer's exact age is given in this episode, how old is he?
Homer’s exact age is given in a few episodes and not surprisingly it’s contradictory but I believe it’s 39 in this one.
That is correct! I called out this one specifically since his age is the subplot that kicks off the episode.
