The headline conveys an "Oh, shit!" feeling on the part of the robot. Which is hilarious.

I mean, the dilivery company will have to pay for the damages. It's just scratches, probably a conversation starter of someone sees it haha

I can totally imagine this robot going shitshitshitshit and fleeing the scene

It the robot itself can't do anything (and what could it do?), it needs to stop, alert the operating company, and have a human come out and resolve the issue. The food delivery is less important than ensuring the wronged party gets properly notified and made whole.
