I feel like the second is underrated heavily in the gaming community. I love harassing the NPCs and making them run around the track. It's also fun to run races against friends. I think the biggest issue is the driving is worse due to the upgrade system which makes it less fun at times.
This game and the second one unironically went so hard. Building your own car to race was the best.

This is the game that caused me to fall in love with video games as a kid.
I played this not too long ago. It was good.
main menu music was like.under a minute long but still hit hard af
