Well, maybe a few more than that on a global level but something in that order of magnitude per language sounds about right.

English? Everyone will be fucked over by this, poorer countries as usual are even easier to because you could pay dirt wages and still map the entire language

I mean 'surprisingly' many rich western countries are also multilingual and so will still happily train data on poorer ones.

Really the only thing keeping a language safe is lack of popularity - which by definition affects the least amount of people.
