This is an excellent List. I'm just here to second Lovely Complex and Toradora! because they're two of my all-time favorites. Lovely Complex gets bonus points for being a romance that keeps going long after the two protagonists get together. They get together maybe halfway thru the show to my recollection and the rest of the show is so much better for it compared to the more typical endless "will they won't they" shenanigans.
More than a Married Couple but not Lovers (if watching the anime only.... You'll get blue balls since it ends on a cliffhanger and no s2 is in sight..the ending theme "Stuck on You" by Nowlu slaps

I'm not the one saying hentai is romance. If you can't prove that something is something when you are the one making the claim, then it's a baseless assertion. Though, hentai can be romantic, yes. But I doubt it's "romantic as fuck". Hentai's whole reason for its existence is so we can fap to it after all.
