As an atheist woman who works in human spaceflight, many of our buildings have gender neutral restrooms simply because they’re old and when they were built, women’s restrooms weren’t necessary - women weren’t engineers and wouldn’t need to be in the building.
Not all of them, obviously, but this meme is fucking stupid and sometimes I do have to use a bathroom with urinals and a toilet and no one fucking cares because we have real work to do.
No. It shows that ideas permeate through society depending on how accepted they are, and that they are therefore under pressure to conform to ideas that are already accepted in society. Like genes, just social.
