FINAL NAME POLL. Kibby vs Kebin vs Bink.
In the last poll, we had 13 names and 220 votes spread out among them.
Kibby technically did win, but it only got 53 votes of 220 due to the sheer amount of potential names.
Due to this, I decided we should have a final poll where we have the 3 finalist names compete fairly since we have eliminated the other potential names. This will give us a much more accurate poll.

Maybe let the poll stand for like 24 hours or so first, timezones etc.
The other one stagnated, but yea maybe I should've. either way it seemed pretty conclusive. I'll leave this one up for longer, maybe 1-2 days depending on when votes stop coming in.
Kibby's winning by a lot right now, but I hope Bink wins! I really like that name
Bink is my favorite as well. Its an anagram of Kbin while Kibby sounds a little like someone referring to dog food.
It sounds like Bing, the Microsoft search engine.
Yes, with the major difference being that Bing is a cringy awful name, whereas Bink is a fun anagram of kbin.

I love Bink and I think it would get more votes if others realized it is an anagram of kbin as originally suggested by @TheOlympian
Maybe of it was written as BinK it would be more obvious? I though about that when I originally suggested it but felt like maybe it was a little on the nose.

I like Kebin because it comes with built-in lore, just like kbin. We aren't starting from nothing, we're an existing community moving on to a new place. So our mascot's name shouldn't be a new creation, it should be a creative spin on a name that comes with previous lore, but new-and-improved, and suited to our new community.

Fun fact: the main Kbird mascot comes canonically from Indonesia. At least that was my original intention.

I didn't see Kibby as even having enough votes on the other poll to be a serious contender. It's ... Too mushy cutesy for me, but I say that as someone who is usually pretty adoring of cutesy things. It bothers me that it doesn't have the letter n in it, so seems too far of a departure away from kbin.
I was originally on team Kebin, but just voted for Bink, which I do think is quite cutesy too, but I like that it's an anagram!

Kibby is cute. I like that Bink is an anagram of Kbin, but the word is less fun to pronounce than kibby to me.

Kebin is too similar to Kbin. Kibby or Bink is different enough.
