I'm New To Spike And Wanted To Know What Is Not Allowed So That I Can Avoid Breaking Rules

New here, came from reddit. I was on tildes but they ended up banning me for a post asking what the community thinks of other alternatives.

Which leads me to my question, what is and what is not allowed on Spyke?

We are relatively new here. So we haven't come up with community guidelines yet. General rules though:

  • post to the correct Clan. We are adding more Clans soon.
  • we are currently a small community that's quickly growing, and would prefer not having NSFW posts until we add support for blurring content.
  • replies to any post must be civil, and we must know the person on the other end is a human. Just like you we have feelings (we don't have bots yet)

The main rule: We request everyone to post whatever they like, and respect everyone else. Let's make Spyke awesome!

Thanks for letting me know. I'm kind of disappointed. I'm not going to be able to say what I really want, though.

What are the unique differences that set you apart from reddit as opposed to other alternatives?

I'm asking this because people are looking for a community where they're not going to be censored. And if we are forced to be militantly polite, that's just going read it again round 2.

The thing is we really aren't sure where to draw the line. That's one of the reasons why there are no community guidelines yet.

What kind of content do you want to post? Just checking to see if it's "legal" for us to host content like that. Don't want govt officials knocking down the office for posting something that violates free speech.

I can see where you're coming from I honestly do. Basically I just want the ability to be an ass LOL joke around with people, pick fun shit like that. As far as content that I want to post? I guess nothing really? I mean I do really like offensive memes and stuff but I'm not using Reddit for memes I'm using it for discussion if that makes sense so offensive memes is not something I have to have.
