What do you guys think is a more professional way to address someone during a meeting?

What do you guys think is a more professional way to address someone during a meeting?

For instance this sentence

"I think what he is trying to say is"

vs

"I think what Niel is trying to say is"...

Which one do you guys think is better and more professional at a meeting?

It is unprofessional to explain something immediately after someone else said it, unless there is obvious confusion in the room.

With that out of the way, younger generations prefer not using pronouns to address someone since we run the risk of addressing the person with an unexpected pronoun.

Professionally, saying "He's got a good point, we should consider it," is okay as long as it is unambiguous (everyone knows who he is).

Finally, BEING PROFESSIONAL IS HARD. I have to think twice before I even say something. I wish everything was just informal.
