Why does my blanket look like this at 3AM when I'm looking for the long side

The 4d monsters enter the 3d world at night. Blankets are supposed to be the portal. Since you're literally wearing the portal, it gets bent in serious ways. Of course the above is a joke.

If you wanna know how I orient my blanket at night, I have folded one of the corners (the top left) of the blanket (like how we dog-ear pages of a book) and stitched it up. At night when I want to orient the blanket, I feel for the fold on the blanket and then cover myself properly.

I like that technique of dog-earing a corner of the sheets. It's much better since you don't damage the sheets in any way.

I would cut off 1 corner of my sheets for the same reason, to help find the corners to hold when it's dark. Of course, using scissors damages the sheets in sad ways.
