I've tried other japenese whiskeys and they're all right tbh. Nothing exceptionally different from any other random whiskey (not much of a whiskey conosuer anyway).

Like a year ago we were hosting a house party at our place. One of our black friends got us a bottle as a gift. The guy was a rather interesting and office funny guy kinda fella.

He used a marker to replace the K's in Nikka with G's and the barrel part with hood. You can imagine what that would spell out. Anyway everyone who had a good laugh but my brother found a kind of facination with the bottle.

He apparently really likes the odd shape of the bottle. The kind of bottle that this kind of whiskey comes resembles a lot like bottom shelf stock, yet the contents inside are anything but. So long story short my brother always wanted to buy one of these right from Japan. Mind you he could've easily got it online as well but he REALLY wanted to get one right from the source on his trip.
