You guys please remember to remove the intestine from shrimps before cooking. It contains poo, fortunately the bacteria gets killed when cooked but it's just yuck to think about it nevertheless
It's actually safer to remove the intestines.
Cooking might kill off the microbes, but doesn't wash out potential toxins that the fish might have consumed, which are still inside the digestive system.
They also tend to add a gritty, sand-in-your-mouth texture to your shrimp which is just... No fun at all.
