Vice city asking for the disk drive to be inserted was the biggest pain in the ass for me as kid. The fact that my friends who pirated the game could play it without any hassle while I as a paying customer having to deal with bs was something my 10 yo brain could not handle. Needless to say I pirated every game after that. Fuck game developers who make it harder for customers to play thereby making piracy the better option (looking at you ubisoft)
