This this insane yet miraculous story that happened to my sisters and I recently. So we all decided to head to the beach with a friend for a day full of beachy fun. While we were enjoying time by the water, our friend somehow managed to lose the car keys IN THE OCEAN. Yeah, panic ensued.
We spent some time totally freaking out and desperately trying to figure out how on Earth we were going to get home. Eventually, we decided to call a mechanic for help, but honestly, weren't too optimistic that they could do much and we would have to probably tow the car.
Now you might be thinking this story's reaching its sad conclusion. Nope! Enter the miraculous twist - a whole TWO HOURS later, my younger sister suddenly comes running down the beach, shouting at the top of her lungs that she had found the keys! You read that right - she'd actually FOUND the lost car keys in the freaking ocean!!
I still can't believe it sometimes. If that's not a miracle, I don't know what is.
I was working as an intern at a pretty big tech company, and one day during my lunch break, I decided to call my mom. She was pretty curious about how things were going and asked me if I had made any friends. I told her about this colleague "John" with whom I had just become friends. Suddenly, my mom got excited and asked if his last name was "Doe" (changing it for privacy obviously). Turns out, it was the same guy she was talking about. To cut the long story short, we discovered that our moms had been high school best friends, but they had lost touch after graduation! John and I didn't have a clue that our moms not only knew each other but were best buds. I always wondered what the odds were for us to end up working together at the same company and becoming friends.
Well at my first job, there was this sweet girl who was really helpful. We became friends through work, and then I asked her out on a date. On the date we talk about childhood, and she tells me she went to a certain kindergarten. I got curious because I went to the same kindergarten too.
She then told me there was a kid who she used to help a lot because he would cry after his mom would leave him at the kindergarten. That boy would get bullied a lot and always wanted to be the centre of attention.
She didn't realise it, but she was talking about me. I recollect whatever she's saying and remember being a great friend of hers in kindergarten.
After the date, I go home and ask my Mom if she recollects the name, and my mom started laughing. "Don't you remember you told me you had a crush on her when you were in kindergarten?" 😳
