Sting energy drink tastes like cough syrup. Why does anyone drink it?

Been seeing sting in every shop lately so I brought one but it’s so damn sweet I could not finish it, how are people gulping it so much?

Why did they make it so sweet? If they made the flavour a bit more like predetor then they will start selling a lot more. 50rs vs 20 is a huge difference.
