I think YouTube making 4k video paid is a good move

4K content consumes a lot more storage and bandwidth for YouTube. Sometimes upto 10x the amount. But the people who watch these videos consume those same amount of ads as someone watching in lower quality.

Someone who can afford to pay for enough bandwidth to watch 4k videos then paying rs 120 for YouTube premium should not really matter.

But you really can't deny that youtube premium is horrible as well. Videos that I save offline need to come back online in 3 days. For me this is completely unacceptable because for me DOWNLOAD means being able to play whenever I want without internet
