Having a hard time understanding how Zomato increased its YoY revenue by 75% despite the discounts

Zomato declared a pretty good profit in the food delivery business. Plus it looks like the only loss was from Blinkit aquisition. How can they manage to do this? I've been getting consistently good discounts plus Zomato Gold is so cheap and the free delivery seems to offset the initial amount paid very easily in just 30 orders. Am I missing something?

You must be new to this. Revenue ≠ Profit

If I sold 100 rs worth stuff and made a 50rs loss is that good? Then next year if I made 175rs revenue but 130 rs loss does that mean anything at all?

Honestly this Zomato/swiggy don't look like they'll be profitable ever. Either they increase commisions from restaurants (and lose) or they reduce discounts. Either way the lose customer's.
