While the world bullied Bing, and made Bing desperate to follow the trends just to stay alive...

Satya Nadella thought really long term, and decided to rebuild Microsoft from the ground up. Attempts for official Linux support in Windows, purchasing Activision and OpenAI...

While the others looked forward and thought the world was all about Tiktok, Bing was carefully plotting a plan to take over the world by offering a search engine with a chatbot so smart that it could potentially change the world.

Google however wasn't far behind. Google was thinking of releasing BARD in 2030, but had to quickly reprioritize when Bing played it's move. What a large chess game...

Sounds highly likely. Even if it doesn't overtake ChatGPT, Google will make it happen somehow.

Google won't shut this service down after a year like it has done for many others, simply because too many engineers have worked on Bard.
