The fediverse, while still social media, has a level of authenticity unrivaled by most major social medias in my opinion. Hopefully it stays that way!

I would pay more to get a car with more buttons than you can comprehend and a small little infotainment system that allows you to play music than a super futuristic car with a iPad in the center and nothing else in the center console area.

Exactly, most headphones that I like are wired with an ordinary audio jack. I don't really feel inclined to get new headphones for a new phone, and a phone without an audio jack just makes things more difficult for me.

• NewPipe has made my YouTube watching experience way better; it's a standalone app with features like ad blocking, subscriptions, and downloading.
• F-Droid (particularly the Droid-ify client) is an open-source app store that generally provides quality apps.
• Obtanium has helped me stay up to date with some of my more obscure apps, which are released only on Github. Obtanium can auto-update apps from a GitHub link or similar, which makes the process way easier.
• Auxio is a pretty good music player, it's quite lightweight but it also looks good.

All of these are available on F-Droid, I find that many F-Droid apps provide a better or cleaner experience than Google Play apps.

More reasons to keep using Firefox just keep on coming up like excellent extensions, in-browser PDF editor, and now more speed. I switched to Firefox 2 years ago with uBO and I don't think I'd ever switch back to Chrome.

NewPipe costs $13.99 less on my phone (where I watch YouTube most), and it has a better UX (for me) than the official app.

If a game I want to purchase has Denuvo, I just move on. It shows me that the game publisher doesn't care as much about their users as they do their own profit. Plus, I also could just play another game that I already have.

This is probably one of the better pieces of news I have heard about ChromeOS, it seems like this could make ChromiumOS easier to support and make Chromebooks less useless.

ViMusic and InnerTune are both available on F-Droid, and are both YouTube Music clients (with reccomendations!). ViMusic is more established, but InnerTune seems to be more up-to-date.

FOSS over piracy for sure. While the UI and/or functionality is not often as good as the proprietary option with FOSS apps, I feel a lot more comfortable using them because they are free and you can see what's going on with them better.
