starlabs.systems are based in the UK and do laptops/tablets and mini PCs. They are slightly unique in that they support linux as a primary OS and provide coreboot firmware for most of the products. I have a mini PC and it's good for older games (Intel CPU/GPU) things like PS1/2 games and xbox games.

Incest porn banned, incest itself not banned. Fucking Labour banning things instead of actually fixing real problems yet again

Would like to take this opportunity, sitting here in my sweltering house, to note that instead of doing something useful like making installing external shutters permitted development, Kier instead decided to take this many years to block porn for puritan Americans at the behest of Mandleson and Palantir

I would vote for it. Drop the pound just to spite the boomers who pulled the ladder up.

I wish there were a small phone :(

I’m using XMXW (Xtrackers MSCI World ex USA UCITS ETF 1C) up 21% over a year, so better than the s and p. I ditched my US stocks before the US turned facist so got quite lucky

I wish there were an EU alternative to Kagi. All other search engines pale in comparison and I just can’t deal with ads any more. I can only hope that Proton are looking in to search

Exactly, this is how Labour force ID, then on to verifying your ID before you can use the internet, all posts will be moderated by government AI produced by Palantir

All run by US big corpos ready to gather data on everyone, great thanks Kier really the most important thing right now

Sell US treasuries, or maybe Kier could stop buying them like they are 2 for 1

Kier > Mandelson > Palantir > OSA, Digital IDs, Police realtime AI surveillance

No corruption to see here

That's primary energy consumption, you want to look at electricity generation:

I trust China immensely more than the US. What about the hostile authoritarian US state? China isn't shutting down servers in the Netherlands, isn't threatening Greenland, Canada, Europe.

Primary energy includes everything: oil used for cars, coal used for steel production. The article is only about electricity and the comment was about wind power making up the majority, which it is very close to doing.

It’s not just for under 16s it’s for anyone that values their privacy

Before Kier's war on privacy I would have been up for the Greens standing down, but now that he is on a one track path to fascism no way.

I have been arguing with my local council planning department to install external window shutters for years. Unfortunately installing them requires paying for planning permission, which requires an architect. It's absolutely crazy

I'm worried about both, but given the execution of people in the US right now, that seems the most worrisome fallout given Farage could be the next PM

I wouldn't be surprised if 100% of UK government webites are hosted in the US. I have to navigate Microshit all the time to view planning applications and council pdfs. Labour is subservient to the US

You are correct, sorry not used lemmy much yet. I added an image thanks for the suggestion :D
