Mods were just applying a set of rules to maintain order and a (minimum) of civility. It was up to reddit to maintain communities if they really wanted, and they simply gave everyone the finger.

You might want to read more about the whole afair, as the fact that all the blackouts seem to be "just a nuisance" made up by mods, and you had to come here to complain show that you did not really understand it.

Any chance the updates will be posted here too?

Lemmy instances need to be "connected" to each other so that the users from other instances can interact. I read about it real quick yesterday, but it seems that it's not "magical". It seems some instances are not connected on purpose, so they are closed communities. Also the instance owner can choose to block some instance.

Nice, thank you for creating this. I may be wrong, because I'm pretty new to this platform, but I noticed this instance isn't linked to other Lemmy instances, is that on purpose? Or is it in the process of being linked?

This is looking good, I wish we were already on the verge of the beta, though... I guess it will be at least a year until PoE2 launches
