The Orlando Pride have signed forward Barbra Banda to a new contract through the 2029 season, a landmark agreement that secures the future of one of the game’s most influential players, the club announced today.

No surprise here really, she has been instrumental in Orlando, scoring approximately half of all their goals this season. It is hard to replace a player making that much of an impact on the team.

Defeating 2 of the top 3 teams these past two weeks is perhaps a glimpse into Boston's future potential. Hopefully Patão uses the end of this season to keep experimenting and finding out what works for this team.

Aleigh Gambone scored a late goal to lift the Boston Legacy to a 2-1 road victory over the Utah Royals on Friday night.

The victory snapped a four-game losing streak for Boston (6-12-5).

Boston Legacy FC will continue playing at Centreville Bank Stadium in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, next season, where the team has been based since May. The team announced Thursday that it will play its 2027 home games there while renovations continue at White Stadium in Boston.
