Absolutely, it's like these old conspiracy theories that just refuse to die. I've got a retirement-aged couple as one of the neighbours and the husband was recently on to chemtrails as his new thing, meanwhile the wife seems to think everything is aliens 🤦‍♀️

It's incredible what some people will believe, but maybe getting into conspiracies gives people a little dopamine rush, the opportunity to feel like they're smarter or more enlightened than others for uncovering the 'truth'
