I have read this recently, and I am absolutely gobsmacked at its contents. At no point does it even mention one's obligations to pay taxes, or lift people out of poverty, or climate change or anything even resembling that. What about looking after our civic spaces, our communities? Nothing.

I've never been able to get on with Friendica as I find it clunky and awkward to use. It's also not possible to just create a community as you have to host a server which takes knowledge and time, something which most people don't have.
