If I remember correctly, UFC was working on Izzy vs DDP, but DDP is unable to fight. Izzy called out Strickland, but UFC either wasn’t interested or hasn’t been able to make a deal.

UFC 290 is coming in hot with one of the best cards (on paper) in recent memory. Less than a month from guaranteed banger in Poirier vs Gaethje too!

I don’t love the Chatri worship at ONE events, but I like how fighters get bonuses on the spot and that there is no cap on how many they distribute. UFC needs to follow suit and spend more on their fighters, especially after a dope event like 290.
