llvmpipe shows up after unistalling nvidia graphics driver, system is hanging a lot

I suspect that my nvidia graphics card has been damaged and it is causing many problems in my fedora setup, like the system lags a lot when playing videos in vlc or any media player and the system blacks out from time to time.

So I uninstalled the graphics driver (I am on laptop so I can't remove the graphics card) using sudo dnf remove xorg-x11-drv-nvidia\* I found at reddit.

But after restarting I notice that in About section: llvmpipe shows up in place of nvidia and intel integrated graphics is also missing.

And with those the sound and network (wifi) drivers are now gone too! And now the whole system is lagging, and weird flickers and colors are showing up on the screen.

NOTE: After waiting for a while, I did not find a fix here, so I am posting this on reddit as well.

KDE Plasma black screen with white flashes problem

https://youtube.com/watch?v=Mq1drnqpxSg&pp=0gcJCR4Bo7VqN5tD

Video description: after trying to select volume control option at bottom right the screen turned black with white flashes.

This issue arises in two ways. First when booting the initial ASUS logo will show and then straight this black, flashing screen and second way it happens is when I try to select wifi, volume, network options present at bottom right area.

When this happens, pressing the power button also doesn't work, so I have to force power off the laptop by holding the power button for some seconds.

This doesn't happen every time i.e most of the times it boots correctly and most of the time trying to select options work as expected.

How to add an option to create a particular type of file from context menu on KDE plasma, fedora?

I want to add an option under Create New to create a file of particular type. For example I use Rnote to create notes,. They have .rnote extension.

Now I create a empty file (image, 3rd option from above) with extension as .rnote , but that file when opened in the application can't be written to, because it is not a proper .rnote file, it is empty file with that extension.

How do I quickly create a proper file for rnote or any application for example libreoffice?

I am on fedora 43, kde plasma.
