E182: Oreo Cookie In Space

Hey Trek fans! Episode 182 of Code 47 — "Oreo Cookie In Space" — just dropped and it's a fun one.

LeRon returns to join Charlie and Peter for a full breakdown of Strange New Worlds Season 4 Episodes 9 and 10. After that, the crew shifts gears into their "Top Fives" segment, ranking their favourite Captains and First Officers — with a dedicated deep dive into Benjamin Sisko.

There's also some notable Trek news covered, including the Paramount/Warner Bros. acquisition moving into its final phase, which could have real implications for the franchise going forward.

If you're watching Strange New Worlds or just love a good Trek ranking debate (and really, who doesn't?), this episode is worth your time. Give it a listen and let us know — where does Sisko land on your personal list?

Celia Rose Gooding | "Tomorrow's Enterprise"

SyFy Sistas — a podcast hosted by three Black women who love sci-fi and fantasy — just dropped their spoiler-filled review of "Tomorrow's Enterprise" from Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, and it's one of their most personal episodes yet.

The episode centers on Nyota Uhura stepping into a leading role, and Tamia, Yvette, and Fran dig into what that means — for the character, for the legacy of Nichelle Nichols, and for why Uhura has been foundational to SyFy Sistas from the very beginning. It's a review, but it's also a love letter.

They also sat down with Celia Rose Gooding for a special conversation about the episode directly.

If you've seen "Tomorrow's Enterprise" and want a thoughtful, joyful, culturally grounded take on it, this is worth your time. New episode out now.

Star Trek's 60 Greatest Moments: Episodes 40-31

The countdown continues! Bill and Dan are working through Star Trek's 60 Greatest Moments, and this week they hit numbers 40 through 31.

Sixty years of Trek. Thousands of hours of story. Only sixty slots. Every moment in this batch had to earn its place by beating out something you already love — and that's exactly what makes a list like this so much fun to argue about.

Expect the guys to make their case for each pick while second-guessing themselves out loud. There's some agreement, some genuine debate, and at least one ranking that'll have you talking back to your headphones.

If you've got strong feelings about what belongs in the top 40, this is a great episode to queue up and then come find us. We do a live show on Thursday nights at 8pm ET on YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram — the chat is where the real arguments happen.

E181: Hopefully Didn’t Bring SKYNET With Him

Episode 181 is a big one! Charlie and Peter dive into Strange New Worlds Season 4, Episodes 7 and 8, and then things get really fun with a 'Top Fives' breakdown of Captains and First Officers — featuring none other than William T. Riker. Fair warning: Charlie can barely contain himself, and honestly, same.

On the news front, they dig into some intriguing reports from TrekMovie.com about a new Star Trek film that may be drawing inspiration from 'Crimson Tide' and 'Training Day.' That's quite a tonal direction for Trek, and there's plenty to unpack there.

It's a solid mix of episode chat, fandom fun, and news discussion — exactly the kind of hang you want with fellow Trek fans. New episode out now 🎧

Star Trek's 60 Greatest Moments: Episodes 50-41

Sixty years ago today, Star Trek premiered — and we can't think of a better way to mark Star Trek Day than rolling deeper into our countdown of the franchise's 60 Greatest Moments.

This week on Trek Geeks, Bill and Dan cover entries 50 through 41. We kicked things off last episode with 60–51, and now the list is starting to get genuinely harder. These are the moments that made us gasp in our living rooms, the lines we've been quoting for decades, and the scenes that cut right to the heart of why this franchise has endured for 60 years.

We're pulling from every era — the Original Series, the films, The Next Generation, and the modern shows. Some picks you'll see coming. Others might surprise you.

If you've been a Trek fan for five years or fifty, this one's for you. New episode out now. 🖖

STLV Recap: Our Week in Vegas

Vegas is in the books, and we're back to debrief everything that went down at STLV: Trek to Vegas.

This week we're joined by Mike Slamer and Ashley Thomas from We Are Starfleet — both first-timers at the convention, and what a year to make your debut. Five days at the Rio, nearly 200 guests, and the entire franchise celebrating its 60th anniversary under one roof.

Ashley didn't exactly ease into it. She pulled double duty as DJ and Trivia Host at the FanGeeks Party, so while the rest of us were just attending, she was running the room. We get her story from behind the decks and the mic.

We also dig into the first-timer perspective on what it's actually like to experience STLV for the first time — what hits, what surprises you, and why there really is nothing else like it in Trek fandom.

If you've been to Vegas, this one will bring it all back. If you haven't, this might be the episode that finally convinces you to go.

The Trek Hill I'm Willing to Die On

Episode 336 of Trek Geeks is called "The Trek Hill I'm Willing to Die On" — and it's exactly what it sounds like. Bill and Dan sit down and share their genuine, sometimes outside-the-mainstream opinions on Star Trek, broken into categories: most overrated character, least favorite ship design, who they'd recast, and a few others.

This isn't a hot-take-for-clicks episode. These are real opinions from fans who've been watching and talking about Trek for over 11 years. The goal is honest conversation, the kind you'd have with a friend who loves the franchise as much as you do — where you can disagree and still have a great time.

Bonus: John Billingsley (Dr. Phlox from Enterprise) delivers the intro and takes a gentle shot at whoever wrote it for him. It's a good time.

New episode out now — listen and let us know which hills you're willing to die on. 🖖
