Introducing ReactOS 0.4.16
I talked to one of the contributors at Linuxtage Chemnitz and he explained that there seems to be special interest from manufacturers not having any more windows support for machines that still run perfectly fine. Just fyi.

I'm in the same boat. I think its a legit reason for someone to avoid nix unfortunately. Do you know of any efforts to mitigate this? Besides having reviews ...
