one skill: be a great listener

ebooks first. i'll text-to-speech it most of the times but the text being there helps so i can attach my annotations. if the book is brilliant, i'll buy a physical copy and install it in my growing library. this year though, i got a little risky and bought my first quarter of the year TBR all paper books. EXPENSIVE!

you will find it funny that my family, having lived in the philippines (tropical, blazing hot oven of a country) their entire life, still use a shower heater. it's crazier to know so many of my peers and contemporaries shower WARM/HOT. they're almost always surprised when they find out i shower cold. their filipino minds can't wrap around the thought of a person subjecting herself to the frosty embrace of a cold shower in a hot country??
